About the job- Wholesale Banking Relationship Manager

You will be the primary architect of our most important client relationships. Your mission is to deliver comprehensive financial solutions while strategically growing a portfolio of wholesale clients across diverse sectors like Trading, Manufacturing, Services, Contracting, and Real Estate.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Portfolio Management: Cultivate, manage, and deepen relationships with a dedicated portfolio of wholesale banking clients, ensuring superior service and long-term loyalty.
  • Business Origination: Proactively identify and originate new, large-scale credit facilities, trade finance deals, and treasury solutions to expand the bank’s wholesale portfolio.
  • Expert Financial Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor, providing sophisticated financial counsel on complex lending structures, cash management, and capital market products.
  • Collaborative Strategy: Partner with senior leadership to design and execute the Wholesale Banking division’s business development and client engagement strategies.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Conduct thorough financial assessments and due diligence, guiding junior officers and ensuring your portfolio adheres to the bank’s risk and compliance standards.
  • Integrated Banking Solutions: Champion cross-selling initiatives across the bank’s divisions to provide clients with seamless, integrated financial services and maximize revenue.

What We Are Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

We are seeking an individual who embodies strategic foresight, financial acumen, and exceptional relationship-building capabilities.

  • Education: A University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline. An advanced degree (Master’s) or a prestigious professional qualification (e.g., CFA) is highly advantageous.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of robust experience in Wholesale Banking, Corporate Banking, or a directly related field within the banking industry.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Mastery of complex sales, client relationship management, and high-stakes negotiation.
    • Powerful influencing, presentation, and communication skills.
    • A deeply analytical and strategic mindset, with an unwavering focus on the client.
  • Language Skills: Complete professional proficiency in English is mandatory. Fluency in Arabic is a significant asset and highly preferred.
